Counter-Propaganda Brigade
Blogger Rene Amini of Luxomatic.com has started Bloggers for Matt. A big P-Funkadelic "Right On!" to Rene, who is also the creator of the Matt Gonzalez portrait above.
Newsom* has tons of cash to spend on the campaign, but he has to pay his graphic designers, art directors, webmasters, PR people... With so many talented people living in this city, if only a few can get connected to the cause, it's all over. Politics is all about marketing and advertising. A barrage of independent, low-budget counter-propaganda could turn the tide.
The first rule of the CPB is: no goddam meetings, ever. Second rule: the CPB is a figment of my imagination.
Yet another example of guerrilla propaganda here.
* Newscum as he is identified on a sweet guerrilla flyer I saw tonight. In the picture he has "TOOL" tattooed on his forehead. Just read my previous entry for incontrovertible proof that there is some weird psychic connection afoot.
